These butterflies are made of wood and completely handmade. On the body there is a space to store about 3ml of gray, a small note with a personal message or a lock of hair.

Atalanta is also common in northern Europe. The butterfly can be seen until late fall, sometimes even on sunny winter days. Every year, many of these butterflies flew from southern to northern Europe to breed. A predominantly black/brown butterfly with white spots and an orange band.
